Photographs in this new Uxía's record were taken by Karlos Abad and Quim Farinha, who is the author of the artistic photographs that illustrate the record.
"I thought it would be very interesting if I could make some artistic contributions using precisely those materials that make up our landscape and which have been changing place for centuries, perhaps millennia, through this sea that unites us. Metaphorically speaking, musical influences among the different Atlantic cultures change in the same fashion." Quim Farinha

This record was recorded at the Vale de Lobos recording studies in Sintra (Lisbon) and is the result of someone who sails savouring the waves of a sea that draws closer and mingles currents. Taking the tradition and the atmospheres of her birthplace, Galiza, as her starting point, Uxía reinvents and personalises the sounds that related her to countries such as Portugal, Brazil or Cape Verde.
